Jose Chameleone stepped in and performed at most of the booked shows for King Saha when he was fighting for his life at Nakasero hospital.
King Saha who was discharged last week thanked the Leone island boss for the big heart.
He said Chameleone's actions showed he is a great person.
"I am grateful to Chameleone for his actions. I have much respect for him. He stepped up for me," he said in an interview with local television.
King Saha is currently enjoying bed rest before he resumes work.
