Up-and-coming dancehall musician Fik Gaza has revealed that the banana remix, in which he featured Jose Chameleon and Konshens, targeted the Jamaican audience.
Gaza explained that the song has already experienced tremendous growth in Jamaica and has been a success there.
"I personally didn't communicate with Konshens; instead, it was Chameleon who initiated contact with him for a collaboration with us. The remix of the banana song featuring Konshens was aimed at the Jamaican audience and has been a success there," Gaza said.
Fik Gaza also revealed that it was Chameleon who personally communicated with Konshens for the collaboration on the banana song.
Unfortunately, the banana remix featuring Chameleon and Konshens did not meet expectations here in Uganda.
