Musician Dax Vibez has confirmed his concert will still go ahead on August 29th this year.
The singer made the confirmation while appearing on the NBS After 5 show on Tuesday this week.
He explained that he and his team and management are looking for a new venue for the event to go ahead as planned.
The singer says he is disappointed by the cancellation at Hotel Africana, but he has already invested a lot in preparation for the concert, and he is not looking back.
"August 29th is still the date for Dax Vibez’s concert. I ask my fans to wait patiently for the venue because it's what we are working on with my team. I was disappointed with the news I received from Hotel Africana, but we have to push on," he explained.
Dax Vibez revealed he was told by the management that he was ineligible to stage a show at their premises.
“At first, it was just a rumor, but I later learned that, according to the family’s investigation, I wasn’t considered eligible to be there," he explained during an interview on NBS Television.
Dax Vibez, according to reports, is considering taking the concert to Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo, Kampala.
