Legendary artist Halima Namakula will be celebrating fifty years of nonstop music on the 26th of this month at Serena Hotel in Kampala.

The singer, who has been a pillar in the lives of many artists, says her concert is open to all music lovers in the country, and they should come out that day to support her.

Halima explained that she is prepared to drive music lovers back down memory lane with songs like "Ekibeewo," "Sabagala," among others.

The singer expressed happiness about the concert and says it's beyond an event; it's a celebration of the musical life she has lived.

"My concert is open to all music lovers. I want all people to come and support me; come celebrate together with us at Serena Hotel and witness the journey I have lived. I will perform for both the old and the young generation because my music cuts across different generations," she explained in an interview with a local television station.

Halima Namakula is one of the most respected figures in the music industry and has long kept her name free from controversy.

She is also celebrated for discovering Rema Namakula's music career and introducing her to the industry.
