The election season is here, and it's a time for different people, including artists, to make money.
Musician Gloria Bugie has made it clear that she will perform for any politician or political party as long as she is paid.
The "Nyash" hitmaker explained that music is a business and she is not ready to starve. She will go out and perform to make a living.
Gloria Bugie says she will not stick to a single politician or political party because her interest is financial gain at this time of the season.
"I will perform for whoever pays me. What matters to me is being paid. So, I will perform for any of those politicians and political parties as long as I'm paid," she explained.
Just a day ago, the President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation advised artists to perform where they are paid. He explained that they should consider music as a business for financial gain.
"Music is a business, but like all businesses, there are challenges. However, I think musicians should perform where they are paid because it's the only way to benefit from their work at the moment," he explained.
