Celebrated Ugandan musician David Lutalo has finally dropped his much-anticipated Extended Play (EP), which is already gaining traction across various online platforms.

Unlike his past releases, Lutalo opted for a digital-first strategy, working closely with online media to promote and publicize the project.

The singer revealed that this time around, he’s focusing on breaking into the international market, with all the songs on the EP produced to meet global standards.

“I want to go international, and that’s my focus now. The EP I’ve released isn’t just for Ugandans but for everyone across Africa and the world. The beats and sound appeal to all audiences,” Lutalo explained in an interview with a local YouTuber.

The EP features four tracks, produced and mixed by over four top producers, each bringing a unique touch to Lutalo’s evolving sound.

By venturing into the global market, David Lutalo joins a growing list of Ugandan stars such as Bebe Cool and Joshua Baraka, who are also pushing their music beyond local boundaries.
