Dax Vibez, one of the most consistent and influential musicians of the past two years, has revealed his list of the top-performing artistes of 2025.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Dax Vibez praised several musicians for their outstanding contribution to the music industry and their impact both locally and internationally.
According to Dax, the artistes who stood out the most in 2025 are:
Fyno, Elijah Kitaka, Joshua Baraka, Tracy Melon, Ava Peace, and Jowy Landa.
Dax highlighted Fyno for kicking off the year strongly with the hit song “Che Che,” which he says has continued to dominate airwaves and playlists across the country. He also applauded Elijah Kitaka for showing massive growth compared to the previous year.
On the international front, Dax credited Joshua Baraka for being the most aggressive in pushing Ugandan music beyond borders. He further praised Ava Peace for maintaining her momentum at the top for two consecutive years, while Tracy Melon and Jowy Landa were recognized for their consistent presence and impressive performance throughout the year.
“Fyno opened the year with ‘Che Che’ and the song is still dominating. Elijah Kitaka has really done well, even better than last year. Joshua Baraka has been outstanding outside Uganda. Tracy Melon has been consistent, Ava Peace has maintained her position at the top, and Jowy Landa has also performed well,” Dax Vibes explained.
The list has since sparked discussions among fans and music critics, with many applauding Dax for recognizing emerging and consistent talent within the industry.
