Media personality and deejay Etania Mutoni has revealed plans to officially venture into music singing after spending years in the entertainment industry.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Etania disclosed that she is currently working on an extended play (EP) which she plans to release later this year.
The popular events host, who will stage her maiden concert on April 4 at the Lugogo Hockey Grounds, says the project will mark a new chapter in her career.
“I am cooking and very soon I will be releasing my extended play. I believe my fans will enjoy whatever I am cooking for them,” she said.
Etania explained that the decision to step into recording music comes at a time when she feels ready to showcase her creativity beyond deejaying and hosting events.
The media personality also revealed she is trying to convince rising Ugandan singer Joshua Baraka to feature on the upcoming project.
If successful, the collaboration could become one of the standout tracks on the EP as Etania begins her journey as a recording artist.
