Ugandan band musician Irene Namatovu has officially confirmed plans to hold her long-awaited concert after over 15 years in the music industry.

The singer revealed that the event, dubbed “Strong Woman Concert,” will take place on August 21, 2026, at the prestigious Kampala Serena Hotel.

Taking to her social media, Namatovu shared her excitement and reflected on the journey leading up to this milestone.

“The silence was heavy, but the music today is even stronger. It only took me 15 years to figure out the setlist for this show. All in all God is above everything,” she wrote.

The concert marks a significant personal achievement for Namatovu, who has built a steady career over the years.

She is married to fellow musician Geoffrey Lutaaya, and has often been associated with his musical journey. However, this upcoming concert signals her stepping out to headline her own major show.

Fans are now eagerly anticipating the event, which promises to celebrate her musical journey and showcase her growth as an artist.
