Rapper Fefe Bussi is set to celebrate ten years in the music industry with a concert scheduled for May 16th at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
As part of the celebrations, the rapper has launched a “Ghetto Search” aimed at identifying talented rappers from different ghettos across Kampala.
Speaking about the initiative, Fefe Bussi said the project is intended to empower young people through rap music and give them a platform to build successful careers.
The self-proclaimed “smallest rapper” believes the search will help uplift talented youth and expose them to bigger opportunities in the music industry.
Auditions will run until May 16th, with winners receiving cash prizes. The overall winner will walk away with UGX 5 million, the second-place winner will receive UGX 1.5 million, and the third-place winner will get UGX 500,000.
“There is a grand prize of UGX 5 million for the winner, UGX 1.5 million for the second place, and UGX 500,000 for the third. This is all about empowering the ghetto through rap,” he explained.
