Musician Gloria Bugie has revealed plans to stage her first-ever concert this year, saying preparations are already underway as she and her management search for the right venue.
The singer said she had initially planned to hold the concert last year but postponed it because of the political campaign season.
“Expect a concert this year. I wanted to hold one last year, but it was campaign season, so I had to postpone it. But this year it is happening. My fans have been asking for it,” Gloria Bugie said.
She explained that discussions are ongoing with her management team to identify a venue that can accommodate her supporters, adding that she wants fans to also have a say in the final choice.
“At the moment, we are looking for a venue that can accommodate all my fans. I want Bugie Empire to help decide which venue we should book early. Lugogo Cricket Oval is not bad, but personally I think Namboole Stadium would be the best option,” she added.
If confirmed, the concert would mark a major milestone in Gloria Bugie’s music career as she continues to grow her fan base in Uganda’s entertainment scene.
