Musician Bebe Cool has announced that he will stage a concert next year after taking a break from organising his own shows in the past few years.
The singer revealed that he stepped back from holding concerts because musicians had lost their value, with many being forced to move around Kampala selling tickets to fill their venues.
"My concert will be taking place next year. I stopped organising them a few years ago because musicians had lost value. To organise a concert, one needed to vend tickets across Kampala," he said, adding that he personally could not stand such humiliation.
The Gagamel boss explained that he also wanted to expand his music catalogue before returning to the concert stage. He now has fresh music and more songs on the way, which he believes will allow him to give fans a memorable experience at his upcoming concert.
"I also wanted to increase my catalogue. I wanted to give people a performance of fresh music, something I had not performed before," he added.
