Sheebah Karungi went to the 3rd Hipipo Music Awards with 7 nominations: Best Afropop Song, Best Afrobeat Song, Best Ragga Dancehall Song, Song Of The Year, Best Duo Group Artist, Best Female Artist and Artist of the Year.

She came out on top of two nominations and she definitely deserved the awards. Sheebah won in the Best Afropop Song and Best Female Artist categories.

Sheebah and Pallaso's song "Go Down Low" was undeniably the best afro-pop song of 2014. The song was streamed over 108,000 on Howwe Music and we're glad it got the two talented artists a HMA. The song was written by Pallaso.

She won the best female artist of the year beating Irene Ntale, Maureen Nantume, Rema Namakula and Irene Namatovu.

Sheebah couldn't wait to share the joy with her fans so she took to her instagram account and shared the photo of the awards with a caption:
