The secretary general forum for democratic change Nandala Mafabi says Ugandans want change, and they have realized this from the campaign trail for their presidential candidate Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye.

Besigye is today campaigning in Katakwi district.

Mafabi argues that President Museveni has been saying he holds rallies in villages where he has strongest support yet they have also gone to those villages and people want otherwise.

“We are encouraging our supporters to show up on Election Day, vote and stay behind to guard their votes.” Says Mafabi

Mafabi was speaking in an interview with a local TV station this afternoon when he said that in a number of places where FDC party has been, voters were unhappy that NRM has reduced them to yellow t-shirts.

He believes that this time, voters will protect their votes. “They are the number one protectors of their votes.”
