The High Court of Uganda has sentenced Luggya Bbosa Tabula and his son, Noah Lujja, to death for the murder of Engineer Daniel Kakeeto Bbosa, the leader of the Ndiga (Sheep) Clan.
Presiding judge Justice David Matovu ordered their execution, ruling that the maximum sentence was necessary to deter individuals from taking the law into their own hands.

The Crime & Motive: Bbosa was shot dead on February 25, 2024, outside his home in Kampala. The murder stemmed from a long-running dispute over the leadership of the Ndiga Clan in the Buganda Kingdom.
Premeditation and Cover-Up: The court noted that Tabula held planning meetings at his home, provided a concealed firearm with an erased serial number, tracked the victim’s movements, and used a motorcycle with disguised license plates to evade capture.
Rejection of Remorse: Justice Matovu rejected arguments that the convicts' guilty pleas showed genuine remorse, noting that their admission only came after law enforcement gathered overwhelming evidence against them.
