Lot's of Zari's followers have been posing all sorts of questions as to what the mom of three likes about Farouk. This was her response:
"I fell in love with him...not sure why or even how. Yes, they've asked me what I see in him, but I smile, look down and say nothing because I don't wan't them to fall in love with him."
That does not kind of explain why Zari could dump the father of her 'three soldiers' to hobnob with six packed Farouk Sempala. This is what caused Zari to fall out of love.
Zari was bored. Having been with Ivan for over 14 years, she had slipped into a comfortable routine which was no longer exciting according to her thus sparking the spontaneous drive in her.
Zari is way older than Ivan, but looks like the older woman-younger man relationship had stopped working anymore. Zari now wants someone way older and that is how Farouk assumes Ivan's place.
Domestic violence is involved. Zari has taken off from Ivan's home not once, not twice for fear of being battered. And now, she is in the hands of the man who says; "In this life, we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love."
Well, Zari's needs and priorities seem to have changed, there is not much that can be done for now.
