Bobi Wine and NUP fans had vowed to boycott Ykee Benda's music after he failed to support the release of musician Nubian Li in Kalangala.
Over the weekend, he was involved in verbal exchanges with NUP supporters on his social media platforms.
But on Monday morning, the singer surprised many when he announced that he will vote for Bobi Wine in the coming presidential elections on 14th January.
He has since become the darling of the leading opposition camp.
