On Saturday, Mikie Wine made a bold move when he officially visited the parents of his fiancee, Shazney Khann in a colorful kwanjula ceremony held in Muyenga.
The event that was restricted to the media was only attended by close family members and friends.
Bobi Wine and his wife, Barbie Kyagulanyi, and many of the Ssentamu brothers like Eddy Yawe attended the event, except Chairman Nyanzi who is currently in the USA on the National Unity Platform(NUP) duties.
Nyanzi took to social media to thank Mikie Wine for taking the step.
Mikie Wine replied praising him for paving a way for the young brothers.
It was reported that the Ssentamus are currently entangled in a fight over family land in Gomba District and Kamwokya.
It is said that Mikie Wine and Daxx accuse Nyanzi and Eddy Yawe of taking a large portion of land left to them by their late father.
