In 2019, Mc Kats publicly confirmed he was HIV positive.
He was one of the first media personalities to confess and start an awareness campaign against HIV.
The latest is that he signed a deal with The Aids Support Organization(TASO) to work on a campaign aimed at ending stigma and intolerance among people living with HIV/AIDs.
He inked a contract at Hotel Africana on Tuesday and he took to social media to post, “Launch of The National Policy Guidelines On Ending HIV Stigma and Discrimination today at Hotel Africana. Thank you UNAIDS, Nafophanu Uganda, The Global Fund and The AIDS Support Organisation -TASO.”
Mc Kats Is expected to exit NBS TV to concentrate on this campaign
