The upcoming event, "Diamond Platnumz Live in Kampala," is scheduled to take place on July 14 at Kololo Airstrip. The concert is being organized by Comedy Store in collaboration with several sponsors.
Diamond Platnumz, whose birth name is Naseeb Abdul Juma Issack, has previously performed in Kampala, including a memorable show at Comedy Store on July 25, 2019. In addition, he was part of a charity event hosted by Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) and Shell Uganda in 2017.
Uganda has a special place in Diamond Platnumz's heart, as he disclosed in 2020 that his father, Mzee Naseeb Abdul, is Ugandan.
Notably, the Bongo Flava sensation has two children with Ugandan socialite Zarinah Hassan, better known as Zari. Their relationship became public in 2014.
