Dancehall artist Ziza Bafana is a man who has spent years advocating for local talent at every opportune moment.

He believes our local artists here have the power and influence to drive brands even better than international artists.

Speaking about the recently concluded coffee marathon, which was headlined by Tanzania's award-winning Diamond Platnumz, Bafana believes King Saha was the most suitable artist for the event.

He explained that King Saha would have performed better than Diamond Platnumz. He has the numbers, and his music is appealing to Ugandans.

He says King Saha would have influenced the gathering to take an interest in the coffee market because he has sung about coffee before.

"I think our local artists here deserved to headline that show. According to its agenda, King Saha would have done exceedingly well. He has numbers and has a connection with coffee, based on one of his songs. People would be more interested," he explained.

Bafana was raising his concerns about the reported 750 million Ugandan shillings paid to Diamond Platnumz for the performance.
