Before joining university, musician Nina Roz was famous in Kampala bars and nightclubs. She used to drink all types of alcohol and also engaged in all forms of smoking, including cigarettes, weed, shisha, and many others.
She once even checked into rehabilitation over the excessive use of drugs but was lucky enough to emerge sober, and she is currently living a responsible life.
Looking at her history, Nina Roz attributes her transformation to her decision to pursue university education. She explained that her life changed entirely, and it's something she is grateful for.
"My transformation into the woman I am today began when I joined the International University of East Africa. I see life differently and am a very responsible person," she explained.
The singer-turned-politician is currently pursuing a business-related course at the International University of East Africa.
Nina Roz also officially joined politics this year. She is contesting for the Sembabule District Woman MP position and has already expressed interest in representing the district under the National Unity Platform ticket.
