Western Uganda-based musician Omega 256 has called on Dax Vibez's fans to cease their criticism of fellow artist Cindy for scheduling her concert on the same date as his.
Omega 256 emphasized that Kampala has a large enough fan base to support both events, stating, "You should stop attacking Cindy over staging a concert on the same date with Dax Vibez. You should instead promote the show of your artiste. I personally believe both concerts will succeed because there are lots of fans in Kampala."
She further urged Dax Vibez's supporters to focus their energy on promoting his concert rather than attacking the President of the Uganda Musicians Federation.
Both Cindy and Dax Vibez are holding their concerts on the 29th of this month. Cindy's event is slated for Millennium Park in Lugogo, while Dax Vibez's concert will be at the UMA Multipurpose Show Grounds.
Both artists have previously expressed confidence that their respective events will be successful due to their distinct audiences. However, some fans on social media have been criticizing Cindy, suggesting she should have postponed her concert to allow Dax Vibez to have the spotlight.
