Musician Geosteady has spent almost a full year in a rehabilitation center receiving treatment for addiction and drug abuse. He has been musically silent and did not release any new music while under the doctor's care.

The singer is now out of the rehabilitation center and has promised new music to his fans. Through a post on his X account, Geosteady confirmed he is back on his feet and will be releasing new songs soon.

"I am here, darling. Thanks for the love, music will be out soon," he responded to a fan who demanded to know his whereabouts on the X platform.

Geosteady also made a public appearance on Wednesday afternoon when he joined fellow artists who visited parliament to get an update on the copyright law bill.

Geosteady is one of the few artists who have benefited directly from the UNMF. Just like Fille, the UNMF covered his rehabilitation bills.

The President of the UNMF, Eddy Kenzo, has championed the federation as a platform for fighting drug abuse and related issues among musicians. He established a desk concerned with drug abuse and addiction.

Despite all the efforts and measures in place to minimize drug use and addiction, it remains one of the biggest vices among artists in the country.
