Gospel musician Wilson Bugembe recently organized a two-day concert at the Serena Hotel in Kampala. The event, which celebrated his twenty-year music career, featured various celebrities who acted in short dramas as Bugembe performed.

Among the notable participants was Rema Namakula, who received high praise for her role in a classroom drama during Bugembe's performance of "Mpagila akawala Ako."

In a recent interview, Bugembe spoke about Namakula, commending her for her humility and character. He revealed that she volunteered her time and was not paid for her services.

"I actually didn't pay any money to Rema Namakula for the two days she performed in the drama at my concert," Bugembe explained. "I thought I would be charged, but that was never the case. As soon as I received the green light from her husband, Hamza Ssebunya, Rema accepted to act."

Bugembe also announced his intention to hold a similar event every ten years to mark his ongoing journey in music.
