Musician Lydia Jazmine joined the music industry as a backup artist for the late Mowzey Radio and Weasel. While there, she was introduced to Bushingtone by Jeff Kiwa and has never looked back.
Speaking about the challenging music industry and the hurdles female musicians face, Jazmine expressed her gratitude to Bushingtone for his guidance and direction. She explained that unlike many female musicians, she didn't have to go through those struggles because she had a supportive team and management behind her.
"Mr. Jeff Kiwa introduced me to my first manager, Bushingtone, so I had someone behind me. It wasn't so hard for me coming up because I had direction and guidance, unlike many who don't," she explained in a discussion with a local YouTuber.
Jazmine, however, says there are many predators in the music industry who take advantage of upcoming female musicians because they are desperate to succeed.
"Some people don’t have the patience because becoming a star takes time. Some want shortcuts, and the men in the industry—whether producers, presenters, or managers—use that as an opportunity to make you believe they can get you where you want to be in a short time," she explained.
