Dancehall Musician Fik Gaza earlier this year quit the National Unity Platform and joined President Museveni's National Resistance Movement.
Fik Gaza has given his reasons for quitting the Makerere-based political party, revealing that many of its supporters were suspicious of him and he felt never trusted.
He says after posing for a photo with Minister Balaam, different NUP supporters started pointing fingers at him, abused him, and he was forced to cross to the ruling party.
"I never went back to NUP because they had started pointing fingers at me. It was all because I took a photo with my man Balaam, and I found myself trending and being abused by NUP supporters, who were accusing me of having been bribed, so I crossed." He explained in an interview with a local television.
Fik Gaza adds that he is ready to perform for whoever pays him and is not limited to any particular political party.
"It is a political season, and now is a good time to come out and take whatever you can. I perform for whoever invites me." He explained.
