The political season is on, and different artistes have already chosen their sides. Many of them are backing the government, while a section of them are aligning with the opposition.
Jowy Landa, however, says she has no side. She can only perform for whoever brings money to her.
The singer explained money is everything to her and is ready to perform for the highest bidder. She explained music is a business and she can perform for anyone to maximize profits.
Jowy, however, says she hasn't performed for any political party yet as she hasn't been approached for business.
"I haven't performed anywhere because I haven't been invited. However, I can perform anywhere when there is money. Money is everything to me and I will go for the highest bidder because music is a business." She explained in an interview with a local television station.
Music in Uganda has a huge influence on politics in the country. This has mostly been because one of the artistes, Bobi Wine, joined active politics and is currently battling with President Museveni for the biggest office in the country.
