Musician Mansur Semanda, popularly known as King Saha, has launched a scathing attack on fellow singer Bebe Cool, questioning his musical relevance and accusing him of using money — not talent — to remain in the industry.
Speaking during a heated live discussion on TikTok, King Saha said Bebe Cool’s career is being propped up by his financial muscle rather than creativity, before offering a controversial solution: he is ready to write hit songs for him — if paid.
“Bebe Cool should approach me and I write for him good music. His album is crap. The song titles are threatening, but the music itself has no meaning,” King Saha said.
According to Saha, despite Bebe Cool investing heavily in his latest album, the project has failed to generate meaningful financial returns, a sign — he claims — that the music lacks substance.
“I want to write songs for him so he can survive in the industry. He should come with some money,” he added.
The remarks have sparked fresh debate among fans online, with some backing Saha’s blunt assessment while others accuse him of disrespecting one of Uganda’s longest-standing music heavyweights.
As the industry watches, the question remains:
Will Bebe Cool respond — or ignore the challenge from one of today’s most outspoken hitmakers?
