Media personality and YouTube heavyweight Kasuku Wazabanga has finally broken his silence after catching heat from a section of NRM supporters, who accused him of failing to represent the party during his recent visit to State House.
According to Kasuku, the critics got it completely wrong.
The outspoken media figure made it clear that his presence at State House had nothing to do with party politics — and everything to do with professional duty.
“I was invited as a journalist for the good work I am doing. I didn’t go there as a member of NRM or its cadre. I didn’t go there to endorse President Museveni — I went there to do my job as a YouTuber and media practitioner,” Kasuku explained.
Kasuku emphasized that as a journalist, neutrality is non-negotiable, and his meeting with the President should not be twisted into political endorsement.
Despite the backlash, Kasuku expressed gratitude to President Museveni and the First Daughter Natasha Karugire for organizing the meeting, describing the moment as a significant professional milestone.
