Musician Winnie Nwagi has once again spoken openly about her decision to stay away from marriage, saying she is happier and more fulfilled living as a single woman.

Before her rise to musical fame, Nwagi was once married, but the relationship ended unsuccessfully. She later became a single mother to a baby girl. Since then, the singer has consistently expressed her reservations about marriage, often citing domestic violence and lack of accountability by men as key reasons.

In a recent interview with a local television station, Nwagi said she has no intentions of returning to marriage.

“A man with a victim mentality will never take accountability, and you will always be the victim in the story. I am so glad I am not married, and I may never wish to get married again,” she said.

The singer added that she is currently enjoying a peaceful and fulfilling life outside marriage and feels no pressure to conform to societal expectations.

Nwagi also revealed that one day she plans to openly share her personal marriage story so that the public can better understand the reasons behind her stance.

For now, she says her focus remains on her music, her child, and her personal happiness.
