In 2025, the controversial analyst made it official with someone’s daughter in a lavish, star-studded traditional ceremony held in Sembabule District. The glamorous function turned heads, but Gashumba chose to keep the finer details tightly guarded — classic him.
Now blessed with a bouncing baby boy, the couple is reportedly living their best life, building their family away from unnecessary public noise.
“I Prayed for a Beautiful Wife”
Opening up about his marriage, Gashumba revealed that his love story didn’t happen by chance — it was a prayer request.
The media personality disclosed that he consistently asked God to bless him with a beautiful, responsible, and understanding partner — someone fit to build a solid family foundation with him.
“I used to pray to God for a wife. I told Him, ‘If she isn’t the right one, don’t let her be mine.’ I prayed for someone beautiful, responsible, and understanding — and it’s all well with me,” Gashumba shared.
Looks like those prayers didn’t bounce back.
Private Love Over Public Validation
Gashumba also took a subtle swipe at modern-day relationships, arguing that African love was once sacred and private — unlike today’s social media-driven romances.
According to him, true African love thrived behind closed doors, without the pressure to impress the online world.
“True African love was once very private. Today, many people showcase their relationships to impress others. That’s something I choose not to do,” he added.
