Media house Sanyuka TV, under Next Media, has issued a public apology after broadcasting controversial comments by Patrick Mulwana that sparked outrage among the Busoga Kingdom and its people.

The remarks, captured during a field interview, quickly went viral and triggered backlash, particularly from Basoga audiences who described them as disrespectful.

In a statement, Sanyuka TV expressed “deep regret” over the content and reaffirmed its commitment to ethical broadcasting standards.

However, the apology has done little to calm tensions.

Online reactions show growing dissatisfaction, with many calling for stronger action, including a boycott of the station, suspension of staff involved, and a permanent ban of Alien Skin from appearing on the platform.

Critics argue that anything less undermines respect for cultural institutions and fails to address what they see as repeated misconduct.

This is not the first time Alien Skin has been involved in controversy, with the outspoken artist often making headlines for his provocative statements and clashes.
