Controversial musician Gloria Bugie has declared that she currently faces no competition from female musicians in Uganda, saying she now considers herself in the same league as male artists.

Speaking during an interview with a local television station, Gloria Bugie claimed she has performed better than many female artists this year and believes only a few male musicians are competing at her level commercially.

“I have no competition among female musicians in Uganda. I don’t settle for less like many of them. I am ranking at the top alongside male musicians in the country,” she explained.

The singer further argued that many female artists limit themselves, while she continues pushing for bigger achievements and growth in the music industry.

Gloria Bugie also revealed that she expects to dominate the industry this year through several unreleased music projects she is preparing to release.

Her comments have since generated debate online, with fans and critics sharing mixed opinions about her confidence and claims.
