Socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan has challenged women to stop making it their mission to marry wealthy men, urging them to build their own financial independence instead.
According to Zari, the days when women had to rely on men for financial security are changing, with women increasingly becoming capable of creating and controlling their own wealth.
“We have become the rich wives, and it is what it is,” she said.
“Make Your Own Money”
Zari advised women who are still dreaming of finding a rich man to change their mindset and concentrate on getting their own lives in order.
She argued that financial independence comes with a level of freedom that is difficult to understand until someone has experienced it.
According to the mother and businesswoman, having your own money means being able to handle your bills and personal needs without waiting for someone else to rescue you.
“One thing about a life where you've tested money, you don't sit around waiting for anyone to save you,” she added.
Wealth Is About Independence
Zari stressed that women should not pursue wealth simply to compete with men or prove that they are more powerful.
Instead, she wants women to become financially secure enough to stand on their own regardless of whether a man is available to support them.
Her message is straightforward: find love if you want it, but don't make a man's bank account your financial plan.
