Musician Nina Roz has revealed that she is considering converting to Islam, saying she could officially join the faith in the future.
The singer, who previously ventured into politics as a Sembabule District Woman MP aspirant, said her connection to Islam has been influenced by her upbringing, education and mentorship.
“Yes, I would consider converting to Islam. It’s a really good religion, and who knows, maybe soon I will decide to officially join it,” she said.
Nina Roz also revealed that she has already chosen a name she would use if she eventually converts.
“If I decided to convert, I would choose the name Husnah, so anytime soon don’t be surprised if I do so,” she added.
According to Nina Roz, her admiration for Islam is largely influenced by what she sees as its emphasis on decent dressing, strong morals and disciplined living.
“It’s a really good religion, and if I could convert all Ugandans to it, I would,” she added.
