Singer Patrick Mulwana, popularly known as Alien Skin, has claimed that President Yoweri Museveni personally appointed him as a senior presidential advisor on ghetto affairs.
Speaking on a podcast, Alien Skin insisted that the appointment is genuine and challenged anyone doubting his claim to verify it.
“I am a senior presidential advisor on ghetto affairs, go and investigate about it,” he said.
The singer further claimed that he has held the position for the past eight months but has never collected a salary.
According to Alien Skin, he has continued carrying out what he described as his responsibilities while maintaining a close connection with people in the ghetto.
“I have never picked up my salary for eight months, but I continue working. I am equal with the people that I care for in the ghetto,” he said.
Alien Skin said the position has not changed how he relates to the people he represents, insisting that he still considers himself one of them.
The singer’s claim comes amid his growing involvement in public affairs and interactions with government-linked figures. However, the specific appointment as a senior presidential advisor on ghetto affairs, as well as his claim of serving in the role for eight months without collecting a salary, has not been independently confirmed.
