Musician T Paul has dismissed rumours of tension between himself and fellow artistes Ray G and Omega 256, saying the perceived rivalry is largely driven by fans rather than the musicians themselves.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, T Paul said he maintains good relationships with both artistes and has no personal disagreements with either of them.
“I have no problem with fellow musicians Ray G and Omega 256. They are the fans spreading the hate between them, but we are good friends as musicians and don't have any grudge with either of them,” he said.
T Paul said the three musicians have no personal feud despite the comparisons and rivalry that sometimes emerge among their respective fan bases.
The singer also attributed his calm approach to the music industry to cultural values that encourage humility and staying grounded.
“You know our culture tells us to be down to earth, and I live with that in my mind always. It has helped me,” he added.
