Leone Island boss Jose Chameleone has confirmed that he is dating again following his separation from his wife, Daniella Atim.
The singer made the revelation during a TikTok Live broadcast, saying he is now enjoying the freedom that comes with being single and pursuing a new relationship.
Chameleone explained that while he was still married, he often felt restricted because people around him would report his movements to Daniella.
“When I was still married, people kept threatening me that they would report me to Maama Abba all the time. I am glad I survived such tension. They always held me at ransom then, but now they have nowhere to report me,” he said.
The singer confirmed that he is currently seeing someone and has no intention of hiding his relationship.
“I’m dating. I am officially enjoying my life. It is not a bad thing, especially for a well-functioning man like me. I am seeing someone, and I cannot deny it,” he added.
Despite moving on, Chameleone acknowledged Daniella’s role in his life, praising her for giving him a family and standing by him for 16 years despite the challenges that came with being married to a musician.
At 48, the singer said he now feels it is time to move forward with his life while appreciating the years he spent with Daniella.
