The Cranes opened their 2014 Africa Nations Championship campaign with a 2-1 victory over the Stallions of Burkina Faso thanks to Yunus Ssentamu’s double but Micho says the team didn’t play well in the second half and insists mistakes need to be corrected before facing Zimbabwe.

"We need to correct mistakes before our next game as we didn’t play a good second half against Burkina Faso," Micho said after the game.

Micho however congratulated the boys upon victory and said it was important winning the first game.

"It was important to start on a winning note. We shall build on that", he added.

Uganda now leads group B with three points two ahead of Morocco and Zimbabwe who drew goal less in the group’s opener.

Cranes face Zimbabwe in their next game on Thursday and victory will see them book a place in the quarter finals with a game against the Atlas Lions of Morocco to spare.
