The Champions League semi-final pairings are now set in stone: Barcelona-Bayern and Juventus-Real Madrid. 'Los Blancos' will play their first leg in Turin on 5th May and the return match will take place at the Santiago Bernabéu on 13th May. Meanwhile, the first leg of the Barça showdown will be played at Camp Nou on 6th May, with the second at the Allianz Arena on 12th May. The grand final will be on 6th June at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.

For Barcelona and Bayern, totalling two Champions League victories between them, this will be a rematch of the semi-final they played in 2013, when the Bavarian side won 7-0 on aggregate.

Real Madrid will be looking for their second consecutive final against rivals who are, on paper, the weakest of the four semi-finalists. They also have the advantage of playing the second leg match on home turf. For Real Madrid, this showdown against Juventus represents a pleasant trip down memory lane, with 'Los Blancos' having lifted their seventh Champions League title against the Italians in 1998, breaking a 32-year drought in the top European competition.
