Owere Philip popularly known by his stage name Baron UG is a singer, songwriter and a talent manager versatile in different music styles/genre and the founder and manager of Baron UG Music Management.
Born to the family of Opua Gaster and Awor Betty from Eastern Uganda in Tororo district with six brothers and two sisters.
He attained his Bachelor's degree in Hardware and Networking Engineering from Makerere University.
He is a member of Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) and as well serving on it's committee board as a Mobilizer and the Assistant Administrator
He started his music career earlier in high school and officially joined the Ugandan Music Industry in march, 2018
He is the man who put pen to paper the Yaka hit song by Karole Kasita, Hannah by Pallaso ft Chameleon with Lucky Costa and many other hit songs in Uganda with Artists like Lydia Jazmine, Gravity, Violah Nakitende, SK Twenti, Nalubega Irene, etc including the Mega Dance hit song by T.I.B from Kenya.
