Bonny Smiles was born and raised by his father Geofrey Omara & his late mother Stella Omara in the village of Alito, Kole District. He was a youth leader in the local church and a choir trainer, he also became a youth pastor and an evangelist during his time at  high school. After completing high school, he studied a diploma in education at Onyama NTC and he graduated as a Biology teacher. He's also a CEO of a community based organization called Living Hope in Christ Uganda currently operating in  northern Uganda but hoping to expand to all other regions of the country
