Canaan Gents is an award winning A Capella Vocal Band devoted to making Christ famous while pursuing excellence and setting a trend in Capella music. The group has evolved from its inception at Uganda Christian University to now becoming a respected brand in Capella music. The group sings in stunning vocal harmony without instrumental accompaniment. It's an engaging mix of tightly-crafted music.

The group has stamped its mark in the musical arena by releasing an EP dubbed "Nkwagala EP" of 8 songs as well Uganda’s first A cappella music video for their song “Sing”. The group has performed across Uganda to great acclaim at weddings, corporate and other special events organized by different companies and entities like the United States Embassy, Barclays Bank, KCCA, URA, esteemed individuals, and charity groups such as the Rotary Club. Of significant note in 2017, Canaan gents has been honored with media interviews on both CGTN Africa, BBC Africa and a special performance of their tune “Omutanda”, a special composition for His Majesty, the King of Buganda at Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi's 62nd birthday party at Bulange, Mengo.
