Davide Ug (french pronunciation of “David”) born 20th feb 1988 is a Ugandan RnB recording artist who started his singing career in 2018. Prior to that, his passion for music had pushed him to write a number of songs which would not be immediately recorded and released due to the uncertainty of mixing his teaching and Music careers. After being deeply-convicted that he really needed to pursue his music career too, he recorded “Perfect Match”, a 2020 single hit rotating around the theme of love, marriage and endless commitment. He also wrote and recorded several gospel songs including “Wawangula” and Omwakka Omujja which were inspired by his very strong christian background. He writes and performs songs in Luganda, English, French and Runyankore.
