Emma O was born on 25th/Dec/1986 to parents Eyaku Lawrence - A teacher (1947-2008), and Acam Hellen - A fishmonger (1957-Todate), in Soroti, Etesot, a Nilo-hamite speaking tribe in Eastern Uganda.

He studied in Pioneer P/S, Swaria P/S, Erimu College, Soroti S.S.S, Community S.S before joining UCC Pakwach for his Diploma in Business Administration, and then later on completed his studies at Cavendish University for a Bachelor and Masters' Degree in Business Administration - A/F (2012-2014).

Emma O's music career started way back as a young boy who loved drumming jericans and singing, this continued when he joined UCC Pakwach where he rediscovered his music career at Christian Union. As an aggressive and ambitious gentleman, he attained all 6 big student Posts available to him at UCC Pakwach. He then began Official music recording when he was recruited to work at Cavendish University in 2008.

One of his first songs; Tunonye Yesu, was nominated in the VIGA Music Awards 2014 as Best Upcoming Artist Nominee
