Urban Gospel Artist | Songwriter | Voice of Hope from Terego

Born Lema Dan on 28th Feb 2005 in Ombatin village, Terego District, Uganda, Gideon Dux Lema grew up with two things in his heart: music and the Word of God.

From the dusty roads of Ombatin to the studio, Gideon’s story is one of faith in action. He calls himself "Dux" because he believes he was born to lead not with titles, but with truth.

His Sound
Gideon does *Urban Gospel  a fusion of modern beats, African rhythm, and raw gospel truth. His songs don’t just make you dance, they make you think, pray, and surrender. As a songwriter and singer, he writes what he lives: the struggle, the breakthrough, and the goodness of God.

His Mission
For Gideon, music is ministry first.
"I was born to share the Word of God through my music."
Whether he’s in church preaching or on stage singing, his goal is the same: to pull young people back to Christ, one lyric at a time. He believes the pulpit isn’t the only place to preach sometimes the microphone is the altar.

The Heart Behind It
Gideon carries the spirit of Uganda in his music, but his message is for the world. He sings for the youth in Terego who feel forgotten, for the broken who need hope, and for anyone who needs to remember that God is still working.

He’s not just making songs. He’s making disciples through sound.
