JDM is a ugandan young rapper who is lyrically strong in both Lugaflow and English aged 18yrs born in Kampala district on 15/10/95 by Mr & Mrs Asiimwe Johnson.
His real names are Asiimwe Johnson and he is a munyoro by tribe/decent.
He started doing rap music in 2008 after being influenced by top rappers such as GNL Zamba, Navio, Drake, Eminem and Jayz.
JdM began his music career in 2011 by staging up open mics and his colleagues in his home area in Bukasa-Muyenga which attracted the like of Atlas D'African.
Later that year while still in his highschool he recorded two songs with famous Ugandan Hiphop producer Samurae who was by that time working at Roota Records before joining talent Africa and the songs earned him recognition in many areas around his home which got him a record deal with Famous Producer Exo and Daxx kartel and he was signed in the Wizard Order management.
While at Wizard order in 2012 he decided to join the End Of the Weak competitions in uganda and came out as the winner of the competitions and he was set to represent Uganda at the world finals in UK which didn't happen due to visa restrictions.
JdM first got his spotlyt while he was feautured in 2013z massive allstar song by producer Exo which had big acts such as Kenzo, King Saha, Gravity, Daxx kartel among others.
He immediately released a video of his song called Twelyewo which didn't get enough promotion because of imbalance of music and Education since he was in Senior Six,later he came out in Dj Nellystingz Love Lines song featuring Keko, Bigtrill, Flexdpaper, Jazmine and Jb and the video is soon coming out which almost got him a collaboration with Kenyan Big artist Nazizi who paid him a visit to Record label studio.
He is currently affiliated to Fujimumz records and having his own group called Team Fresh House Uganda working on his upcoming mixtape calles Re-Brand.
