Jam Rockhudz, real name Brian Opio is a Ugandan rapper and songwriter. Born on 27th July 1998 in     Lira district, northern Uganda. Jam was born to Lillian Acio, raised by a single mother. Following the death of his mother in 2006, he all his childhood with his maternal grandparents. He has too much attachment and in one of his songs he described his mother as the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, his treasure, gold and everything of his etc. Jam started school at Adyel Primary school where in 2005 where he studied up to p2, he left Adyel for Otim Tom where he sat for his Primary Leaving Examination in 2011. Later joined Dr. Obote College for O’ level in 2012 where he sat for UCE in 2015, later Joined Our Lady of Africa SS Namilyango for A’ level,  where he sat for UACE in 2017. He joined Gulu University where he is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Agriculture. Jam started singing at a very young age but recorded his first song Thanks To ma mama, in 2013 when he was only 13, the song was warmly welcomed among his peers while still at school, he started to gain a lot of fame in school. By the time he was leaving, he was highly known mostly for his singing at Dr. Obote College, He went to release Hustle Hard, Fed Up Ft Loritah, Heros, am winning, I miss you (tribute to his late mama and aunt). All these were mostly in English and some bit of Luo and features in his first album The Genesis which he released as a solo artist. Jam used to participate in rap battles organized at Garden palace, Adyel a hangout place near his home base, He won the battles 3 consecutive times e participated. In 2018, Jam partnered with Halani, real name Lawrence Kajjimu Kibirige to form a dynamic music duo called DreamChaserz. A year later, they released their first song I need you.
