Mbikwasize ogu Johnson (born 28 September 1989) is Toro vocalist, primary writer and lyricist for the band Vocal Budget. He was previously well known as the lead singer for the 1990s hard rock band Fastway.

John grew up in a small two-room in RwamagembeMbale tenement that had once been part of Rwamagembe. When he was around the age of six or seven his parents bought him a guitar.John's father died when he was 10 years old. He left Mbale in his twenties, briefly residing in Kampala and then on to Wakiso where he first joined Fastway and later formed Vocal budget with blackman, Bad young, and Eva j.[1]

After emigrating to the Kampala,. John  was not able to visit his home or family in Mbale during this time for fear that immigration laws would prevent his return to kampala. This separation from his homeland and his mother is thought to be a contributing factor in many of Vocal budget's early song lyrics, with many of the songs alluding to John's time in "exile.
